Housekeeper - Hope & Anchor, Hope Cove

Our passionate team at the Hope & Anchor, Hope Cove are looking for a Housekeeper to join them in helping to bring wonderful experiences to their guests.

Set within Hope Cove in the stunning South Hams, The Hope & Anchor is the perfect seaside getaway with hotel bedrooms and a self-catering cottage. Open to the public and guests alike is a friendly inn, which caters for all with locally sourced quality food served throughout the day.

What it's like to be a Housekeeper:

Joining us as a Housekeeper you'll be supported and encouraged within our friendly team. We want you to build your expertise, career and confidence with us.

Working closely with all your teammates in our busy hotel, you'll:

  • Work hard to make sure that the rooms and communal areas are spick and span
  • Be a positive member of the team
  • Have a passion to deliver nothing short of exceptional customer service, with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Be flexible in your working hours over peak times as working hours increase in line with business needs

Working hours are flexible as are days of the week. Set hours can be discussed at interview. Working weekends and public holidays are essential.

Some experience in housekeeping will, of course, be useful, but not essential as we will teach you everything you need to know on-site.

About You:

You might be starting out in your career in hospitality or maybe you've been working in a similar housekeeping role and love it. Either way, you'll be renowned for:
