Multi-skilled Engineer at St Austell Brewery

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer Mechanical bias at our St Austell Brewery Site. The position will be to work 40 hours per week on a shift basis with occasional weekend work and possible night-shifts.

What the role includes:

The successful candidate will be time served and qualified to a minimum of NVQ 3 standard with machining & metal fabrication, TIG welding, Planned preventative maintenance systems experience. Our team provide a high degree of flexibility; therefore, sound mechanical knowledge and the capability to multi-skill would also be required. Specific experience in the Brewing, Beverage or Food Processing industry is desired but not essential.

Some of the Key Duties:

·Day to day maintenance of all brewery plant.

·To diagnose faults and repairs as quickly for both mechanical & electrical faults

·To carry out calibrations and verifications of essential equipment

·To operate a counterbalance forklift truck and to adhere to the health & safety procedures

·You will be a crucial part of the Engineering and Production team and would need to manage multiple priorities at once.

Key Experience:

The ideal candidate will have proven Engineering experience gained within an FMCG environment would be advantageous. The successful candidate would hold NVQ 3 Standard in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to work as part of a team with a good level of fault-finding diagnostics.
