An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer to join St Austell Brewery.
What it's like to be a Senior Engineer:
To lead and direct Engineers to ensure maximum effectiveness and utilisation of plant and Engineering resource. To ensure a pro-active approach to the prevention of equipment failure through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and where required a rapid response to break down where failure occurs. Ensuring quality, waste and efficiently targets are met by working as an integral part of the production team. Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed at all time by Engineers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations and to ensure these are followed to maintain the required standards.
This role will be based in our St Austell Brewery, Cornwall and reporting to the Head Engineer. The hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with the flexibility of working some shifts and weekends when needed.
It's a given that you will have a number of years' experience as an Engineer and able manage a team remotely, but it is also important that you also have:
- Previous experience in working within the food and beverage industry
- Minimum level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Time Management
- People management skills
- Electrical qualifications and experience essential, mechanical qualifications and experience desirable
- Data and analytical skills
